Democracy workers need physical homes. Not just online communities, but real spaces where a campaign field director can work next to a nonprofit organizer, where local groups can hold coalition meetings, where volunteers can be trained, where a new candidate can host their first fundraiser. Democracy Hubs are those spaces — progressive storefronts, meeting and co-working spaces, community gathering places built for the work of democracy.
A single pilot hub in a key city — DC, Atlanta, Phoenix, Detroit — demonstrates the model and generates the revenue data to replicate it. Once established, hubs are largely self-sustaining through co-working fees, event rental, and partner programming.
